The sensor arrangement has several sensing units (9) comprising tactile switches (14), and oscillating circuits (12) arranged parallel to the commonstrip guard systems (10,11). The current signals of the sensing units differ in characteristic such as resonance frequency, attenuation, and frequency response. The conductive layers (3,4) are formed in the top face and underside of a middle non-conductive layer (2) of the sensing unit. An independent claim is included for arrangement of sensing two dimensional elements.
