The method involves assigning a lower carrier frequency to respective parallel digital data stream. The digital total data stream is determined in a data field. The field is provided within the distance from the origin to an in-phase/quadrature point. A sub carrier frequency is changed in its amplitude such that the distance of the determined data regions from the origin increases. An independent claim is also included for a communication terminal for supporting a multi-carrier signal procedure.
