PURPOSE: A backlight assembly of a display device is provided to improve aseembility of an HCFL and automating the manufacturing processes. CONSTITUTION: A backlight assembly of a display device comprises a fluorescent tube(100) in which a pair of lamp leads(121) are formed, an end cap(200) which fixes the lamp leads and covers the end cap, and a power supply terminal which supplies power to the lamp lead. The end cap exposes the minimum parts of the lamp leads.
