METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POLARIZATION CONVERTING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing polarized beam conversion device is provided to easily align and attach the phase retardation film of the miniature polarized beam conversion device like a pico projector. CONSTITUTION: A PBS array includes PBS side and the first unit block and the second unit block which are formed by turns. A phase retardation film is prepared and a groove is repeatedly formed with the interval of corresponding to each unit block of the PBS array. The phase retardation film is to attached to the PBS array, since the groove of the phase retardation film accords with boundary between the unit block. The phase retardation film is selectively eliminated to be corresponded to the first unit block or the second unit block of the PBS array.
