PURPOSE: A humidifier having a sterilizing function is provided to sterilize water in a cistern stably by supplying the appointed quantity of a sterilizing material to a cistern according to a variation of the water level in a water tank or a cistern. CONSTITUTION: A humidifier(100) having a sterilizing function comprises a water tank(110) housing water, a cistern(120) taking water from the water tank, a humidifying device(130) evaporating or neutralizing the water placed in the cistern, and a sterilizing material supply unit(140) connected with the top of the water tank by a discharge pipe(160) and supplying the sterilizing material contacted and melted in the water placed in the water tank to the water tank. |
