PURPOSE: An ice making unit and a refrigerator having the same are provided to improve the cooling efficiency of an ice making chamber, to replace and repair an ice making unit, and to improve the ice making efficiency of an ice making unit by improving the cooling structure of an ice making chamber. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator having a deicing unit comprises an ice making unit(60) formed in an ice making chamber to make ice, and a freezing cycle having a refrigerant pipe making direct contact with the ice making unit, wherein the air of the ice making chamber is cooled down by transferring heat directly with the ice making unit or the refrigerant pipe.
