PURPOSE: An automatic control apparatus for preventing dew condensation and a method thereof are provided to effectively prevent dew condensation by previously controlling a temperature change and a humidity change. CONSTITUTION: An automatic control apparatus for preventing dew condensation comprises a sensor unit(20), a dew condensation preventing unit(30), and a control panel unit(10). The sensor unit measures the surface temperature and internal temperature and internal humidity of a sealed structure. The dew condensation preventing unit controls the surface temperature and dew-point temperature of the sealed structure. The control panel unit receives weather information and calculates the dew-point temperature of the structure based on the measured internal temperature and humidity. And the control panel unit selectively powers the dew condensation preventing unit.
