METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF SOIL DAMPNESS WITH ACCOUNT OF ITS DENSITY

The invention relates to means for nuclear-geophysical studies in engineering-geological hydro-meliorative and ecological wells. Method for determination of humidity of earth with account of its density by calibration dependence of neutron humidity meter plotted for given density of earth is in correction of indications of neutron humidity meter through introduction of correction coefficient that is determined by density of earth used at plotting calibration dependence for neutron humidity meter and density of earth under investigation. Correction coefficient is determined by density of earth with natural humidity, and calibration dependence is plotted by interpretation parameter that is product of direct readings of neutron humidity measuring device and correction coefficient for density of earth with natural humidity and volumetric humidity of the earth, those are measured directly in the well under investigation. The invention provides increase of accuracy, effectiveness and decrease of cost of neutron logging of humidity of earth.
