The present invention relates to automotive industry and can be advantageously used as active protection of the passenger cars against major damages and deformations of the body at collision with an obstacle. The device comprises a protective system made of actuators attached to supporting elements of car body. The protective system comprises protection units of doors and protection units of front and rear parts of the car. One end part of each telescopic element is attached to the carrying element of body and the other end part of telescopic element has a tapered pusher. The telescopic elements are configured to move in the horizontal plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle at an angle to the axis of vehicle in the direction of its motion or at an angle to the axis of vehicle in the opposite direction of motion. The units of protection of front and rear parts are placed within the dimensions of the frontal projection of front and rear parts of the car and made of the hollow telescopic actuating elements with insulated cavities. The technical result from use of the invention consists in prevention of deformation of the body and protection against destruction and deformation of the car from all sides, which contributes to a significant reduction of economic losses at collision with an obstacle or a forward moving object.
