Note here that multiflute drill-to-bit joint is taper joint. Bit has taper neck whereto adjoin multiflute drill cutter plates provided with chips breaking flutes and arranged at angles that vary chips direction toward processed hole surface. Note here that their cutting edges are located abreast of diameter smaller than bit working section diameter.
