摘要 A PCR(Program Clock Reference) correction circuit is provided to be implemented by a simple control method, by reducing the number of components and circuit size. According to a PCR(Program Clock Reference) correction circuit for correcting jitter of PCR reference time information generated when a TS signal multiplexed with plural programs are changed into other bit rate via a memory, a crystal oscillator(1) generates a reference clock for PCR correction. A reference counter part for PCR correction(2) generates a reference counter value for PCR correction synchronized to the reference clock. A reference counter value adding part(3) adds the reference counter value to the TS signal before bit rate change. A rate conversion part(4) stores the TS signal added with the reference counter value in a buffer memory temporarily, and then converts the TS signal into output bit rate. A PCR correction counter value calculation part(5) extracts an input time reference counter value from the reference counter value added to an output TS signal from the rate conversion part, and acquires an output time reference counter value from the PCR correction reference counter part, and obtains a PCR correction counter value by calculating the difference between the corresponding input time reference counter value and the output time reference counter value. A PCR replacement part(6) detects a PCR counter value included in an output TS signal from the rate conversion part, and replaces the detected PCR counter value with a new PCR counter value by adding the calculated PCR correction counter value to the detected PCR counter value.
