<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent facility information received from attracting a user's attention who is driving in an information providing system for a vehicle configured to transmit the facility information to the user. <P>SOLUTION: An information providing device 4 is configured to search, when data for a traveling route of a vehicle is transferred from a car navigation system 2 to a browsing device 3, and the data for the traveling route of the vehicle is further transmitted from the browsing device 3 to the information providing device 4, a database for facility information to search information for a facility present near the traveling route of the vehicle, and to transmit the searched facility information to the browsing device 3.
