<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming system, recognizing the operation state of another image forming apparatus and moreover, forming a suitable state. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming system 500 confirms the conditions of at least one of MFP(Multi Function Peripheral)s 100, 101, 102 and 103 of the image forming system 500 to which a server 200 belongs, when the MFPs 100, 101, 102, and 103 belonging to the image forming system 500 perform acquisition processing for acquiring the correction amounts of a positional deviation and a density deviation individually and sets the practice conditions different from each other, on the basis of the confirmation result.
