摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact joint section for a manipulator which is easy to assemble, reduces cost and can accurately operate the manipulator. <P>SOLUTION: The joint section for the manipulator couples ends of a base arm and a rotary arm with each other for turning the rotary arm with the end serving as a fulcrum. The joint section for the manipulator includes a joint shaft provided at the end of the base arm, and a bearing unit having a cylindrical housing fitted with a unit mounting hole formed at the end of the rotary arm and a plurality of rows of roller bearings provided inside the housing and supporting the rotary arm rotatably around the joint shaft. A flange protruding toward an outer diameter is formed on an outer peripheral surface at one of axial directions on the housing. An external threaded part is formed on the outer peripheral surface at the other axial direction. A nut is screwed with the external threaded part, whereby the rotary arm is sandwiched between the flange and the nut and fixed to the bearing unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
