<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower structure of a vehicle body rear part, which can prevent the deformation of a spare tire housing toward a front side of a vehicle and movement of a front end of a spare tire toward the front side of the vehicle while promoting the upward jumping of a rear part of the spare tire when a load is applied from a rear side of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The lower structure of the vehicle body rear part 1 includes a spare tire housing 3 formed on a rear floor 2 of the vehicle body rear part 1, a rear cross member 5 connected to a pair of right and left side frames 4 in the vehicle width direction and arranged on the front side of the spare tire housing 3, and a hook reinforcement member 6 for a towing hook 14 extending in the front-back direction and arranged at the center of the lower surface of the spare tire housing 3 in the vehicle width direction. In the lower structure of the vehicle body rear part 1, the front end of the hook reinforcement member 6 is attached to the rear cross member 5, the hook reinforcement member 6 forms a closed sectional surface with the rear floor 2 in which the closed sectional face on the rear side is larger than that on the front side.
