PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant sewing machine thread which has a high strength, improves deodorant property and deodorant effect durability and further also improves a sewing property. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a deodorant sewing machine thread in which nanofiber yarn constituted of a plurality of nanofibers whose single fiber diameter is settled within a range of 100 to 1,000 nm undergoes down-twisting, which keeps a twist coefficient (k) represented by the following expression settled within a range of 5,000 to 8,500 with a plurality of nanofiber yarns bundled, and further, undergoes up-twisting which keeps the twist coefficient (k) represented by k=t×√d settled within a range of 5,000 to 10,000, and in which the area of a portion where the nanofibers are aggregated and adhered is 100μm<SP>2</SP>or less.
