METHOD OF PREPARING FOR CARBON FIBER

PURPOSE: A carbon fiber manufacturing method is provided to remove foreign materials sticked on the fiber bundle surface by using an air blast/suction apparatus at the entrance of a flame resisting furnace or of a carbonization furnace. CONSTITUTION: The carbon fiber manufacturing method has following processes. The flame resisting treated fiber heat-treats the precursor fiber in the flame resisting furnace. The carbon fiber carbonizes the flame resisting treated fiber by using inactive gas at the carbonization furnace. The air blast/suction apparatus is installed at the entrance of the flame resisting furnace or the carbonization furnace(300), which eliminates foreign materials sticked on the fiber bundle surface.
