PURPOSE: Method and device for measuring the precise shape and size of a stacked structure are provided to precisely measuring the shape and size of a structure consisting of a number of stacked plates, such as a stator and a rotor forming a motor core. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring the precise shape and size of a stacked structure comprises following steps. A stacked structure is placed on a measuring unit. Laser is triggered onto the target surface of the stacked structure and the opposite surface receives the laser. The change of radiation intensity of the received laser is sensed as an electrical signal and the shape and size of the stacked structure are measured.
