PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a driving method thereof are provided to compensate for a charging difference of a pixel by pre-charging, thereby increasing picture quality. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display panel(100) includes a plurality of pixels which is formed in every cross unit of gate lines and data lines. A gate driving circuit unit(400) sequentially shifts a gate pulse by a first horizontal interval at every horizontal interval and supplies the gate pulse to gate lines. A timing controller(500) generates a modulation data signal by modulating a real data signal according to a predicted charging rate. A data driving circuit unit(600) supplies a corresponding data line during the real charging interval.
