<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery having a structure that has improved durability and heat dissipating performance in a secondary battery structure for vehicle, which mounts a large-sized electricity storage device. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary battery comprises a first electricity storage device which is wound by a positive electrode sheet, a separator, and a negative electrode sheet in an overlapping manner and has an electrolyte and a battery case for accommodating the first electricity storage device, wherein the first electricity storage device is a flat shape, constitutes a lengthwise region and a corner region, and the central portion of the lengthwise region is pressed against the battery case by a surface pressure generating member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
