METHOD FOR PRESERVING SOUP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for substituting a glass bottle and preserving a soup stably for a long period of time without reducing a flavor and a color tone.

SOLUTION: In the method for preserving a soup including hermetically sealing a soup in an oxygen absorbing container obtained by using an oxygen absorbing multilayer body made by piling up at least three layers of an oxygen permeable layer composed of a thermoplastic resin, an oxygen absorbing resin layer containing a polyolefin resin, a transition metal catalyst and a polyamide resin and a gas barrier layer composed of a gas barrier substance in the order from the inside in whole or in part of the container and preserving the soup, the polyamide resin is a polyamide resin that is obtained by polycondensation of an aromatic diamine and a dicarboxylic acid and has a terminal amino group concentration of ≤30 μeq/g and the total content of the transition metal catalyst and the polyamide resin in the oxygen absorbing resin layer is 15-60 wt.% based on the total of the oxygen absorbing resin layer.
