METHOD FOR PRODUCING AROMATIC AMINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient method for producing an aromatic amine using an aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase derived from a microorganism.

SOLUTION: The method for producing an aromatic amine includes synthesizing an aromatic amine from an aromatic L-amino acid in the presence of an aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase derived from a bacterium belonging to the genus Pseudomonas. The expression vector includes a polynucleotide encoding the aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase. The transformant into which the expression vector is introduced is provided.
