<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate the type of an AC adaptor without increasing the number of terminals of the AC adaptor and an electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus has a configuration in which when the electronic apparatus becomes a state of being supplied with power, an output voltage of the AC adaptor changes from a second voltage Vb to a first voltage Va, and the change in voltage can be detected in the electronic apparatus. Thus, the configuration capable of detecting the type of the AC adaptor can be achieved without adding new contact points to a DC input terminal 1 and a DC output terminal 18.
