<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely photograph an object image in a photographing mode desired by a user. <P>SOLUTION: When photographing the object image in which a person and a mountain are within a photographing range not in a portrait mode but in a scenery mode, the user adjusts photographic composition (photographing direction and angle of view), so that only the mountain is included in a determination area for setting a photographing mode (area is shown by a broken line in an image 250) first, thereby making the imaging apparatus recognize the scenery mode as the photographing mode. When the user depresses a holding button of the imaging apparatus in such a state (where the image 250 is displayed), the scenery mode is set as a hold photographing mode. Thereafter, when the user changes the photographic composition to the desired one so that the person and the mountain may be within the photographing range and performs shutter operation, the object image is photographed in the scenery mode as the hold photographing mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
