<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter that miniaturizes a terminal block and is mounted easily. <P>SOLUTION: The power converter includes a terminal block 5 that includes a placement surface 50 for placing an edge 41 for external connection, and electrically connects a connection terminal 7 to the edge 41 for external connection on the placement surface 50 while the connection terminal 7 of external equipment is overlapped to the edge 41 for external connection. The terminal block 5 is inserted and disposed between a support surface 60 of a terminal-block support unit 6 and a main surface 42 of the edge 41 for external connection from the outside in an extension direction of the edge 41 for external connection.
