<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the mounting operation of a user while simplifying the constitution of a liquid cartridge and a cartridge mounting part. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of cartridge mounting parts 22 of an ink supply device 5 can be mounted with a plurality of ink cartridges 6 whose supply port positions differ respectively. Each cartridge mounting part 22 has a plurality of connection ports 25a-25d corresponding to the supply ports of the plurality of ink cartridges 6.
