ELECTRONIC DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING ELECTROLUMINESCENT SCREEN, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic display device having an electroluminescent screen; and to provide a method for manufacturing the electronic display device.

SOLUTION: The electronic display device 1 includes a substrate 2 coated with a matrix of pixels formed by organic light-emitting structures 5 located in the middle of two electrodes, wherein one electrode 3 is proximal to the substrate and the other electrode 4 is not proximal to the substrate. An electrically-insulating resin 7 covers the substrate between the proximal electrodes of the pixels, and is extended to a peripheral edge 3a of each proximal electrode. Each pixel is transparent or semi-transparent to light so as to maximize an emission surface of each pixel and to vary thickness of an optical cavity formed between the proximal electrode and the non-proximal electrode of respective pixels, and each pixel incorporates at least one auxiliary electrode 8 which is made based on a metal material having a work function identical or substantially identical to the proximal electrode and inclined to the surface of the resin and extends from the proximal electrode to the non-proximal electrode by being opposite to the edge. In the auxiliary electrode, the material of the proximal electrode generated by rebounding is poured into the resin by carrying out dry-etching.
