<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized electric toothbrush which is excellent in portability and is excellent in a tooth rubbing performance. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical brush attaching shaft 11 for detachably attaching a toothbrush 5 (holding part 51) is formed at the distal end of a body case 2. In the space S1 inside the brush attaching shaft 11, a motor M to which an eccentric weight 29 is attached for generating vibrations is arranged.
