PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for recording and abstracting a conference capable of generating an abstract edited in accordance with a specific intention. SOLUTION: The system for recording and abstracting the conference includes: a video/audio recording part 15 for recording video/audio data in associating with time information; an operation information recording part 14 for recording operation information from an interactive whiteboard 20 in association with the time information; and an abstract generation part 16 detecting an utterance interval from the video/audio data recorded in the video/audio recorder to extract a part of the operation information from the operation information recording part in response to an abstract generation instruction, generating the abstract from the video/audio data recorded by the video/audio recorder on the basis of the time information associated with the extracted operation information and the detected utterance interval.
