PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor which is prevented in the deformation of a front plate, simplified in assembling work, and enhanced in the rigidity of connection between a stator and a front plate. SOLUTION: A band 30 is constituted of a plate-shaped installation part 31 formed of a member having elasticity, wherein locking parts 32, 33 are formed by bending both ends of the installation part 31. A boss of an end plate is engaged with a notch 34 formed at one locking part 32, a protrusion 18 of the front plate 15 is engaged with a notch 35 formed at the other locking part 33, and a locking claw 36 is formed at the forefront of the locking part 33 so as to connect the stator 2 and the front plate 15.
