PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently download a plurality of pieces of update data obtained by dividing program data, from satellite broadcast or terrestrial broadcast. SOLUTION: A CPU 205 loads the program data to control execution of various kinds of processing. A video sound processing section 204 outputs a video signal from a DL information separation section A201 or a DL information separation section B202 to a display 51, and outputs an audio signal to a speaker 52. A broadcast DL control section 203 stores an SDTT which the DL information separation section A201 extracts from information to be input from a terrestrial broadcast processing section 20a, and an SDTT which the DL information separation section B202 extracts from information to be input from a satellite broadcast processing section 20b in a storage section 60. In addition, the broadcast DL control section 203 determines which of division update data from the terrestrial broadcast processing section 20a or update data from the satellite broadcast processing section 20b is executed on the basis of the stored SDTT.
