PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier roller that can be replaced comparatively easily, a carrier assembly including the carrier roller, and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The carrier roller includes a roller shaft having a first end connected to a driving shaft for transmitting a driving force from a drive source, and a second end rotatably supported by a support part; and a roller projecting from the outer peripheral surface of the roller shaft and formed to convey a sheet. The first end is formed with an engaging part to be engaged with the driving shaft so that the driving force can be transmitted, and the roller shaft is provided with a visible first mark corresponding to the formed position of the engaging part.
