The present invention is directed to a system (10) and method for assessing interference to a signal caused by magnetic field. The system (10) includes a magnetic field generator (12) configured to generate a magnetic field. The system (10) further includes a first magnetic field sensor (14) configured to detect a magnetic field and to generate a first signal representative of the magnetic field (19) detected thereby. The system (10) still further includes a second magnetic field sensor (16). The second magnetic field sensor (16) is configured to detect a magnetic field (19) and to generate a second signal representative of the magnetic field (19) detected by the second magnetic field sensor (16). The system (10) yet still further includes a processor (18).
