<p>A method is provided for rapid adjustment of operating levels of a plurality of electronic apparatuses by a host apparatus. The method includes the steps of: a) configuring the host apparatus to generate an adjustment-command codeword that corresponds to a target level, and that contains a target-indicating bit-string with a plurality of bits each corresponding to a respective one of the electronic apparatuses; b) configuring the host apparatus to issue the adjustment-command codeword to the electronic apparatuses; and c) configuring each of the electronic apparatuses to, upon receipt of the adjustment-command codeword, adjust the operating level thereof for compliance with the target level if one of the bits of the target-indicating bit-string that corresponds to the electronic apparatus is in a predetermined state.</p> |
