PURPOSE: A light diffusion tube and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to be applied effectively in illumination for high quality of homogeneous background light form which is required to the advanced automatic optical inspection, or industrial illumination such as line scan. CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic transparent matrix resin of 95~99.999 weight%, and light diffusing beads of average particle diameter of 1~4μm : 5~10μm : 11~30μm kneads and presses out the composition of 0.001~5 weight% of photodiffuser mixture which is weight ratio of 1 : 0.4~0.8 : 0.1~0.3, and molds the tube of wall thickness of 0.2mm~3.5mm. A plurality of random fine cavities of horizontal width of 0.4~350μm, and vertical width of 0.4~35μm, and height of 0.4~35μm and micro-irregular surface profile in which down left right interval between the micro cavity is 0.4~35μm are formed by emboss-processing the outer circumference of the tube by using drum embossing roller of the assembly.
