<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device further improved in disassembly, compared with conventional ones. <P>SOLUTION: A cartridge 7a includes: a developing roller 25a for carrying developer; a support member 32R having a recess 32M, and the recess 32M recesses in a direction perpendicular to the shaft of the developing roller 25a, and supporting the developing roller 25a within the recess 32M with the shaft of the developing roller 25a therein such that the developing roller is freely rotatable; and a protective member 61, end member 60, and pressing member 62, which are configured such that the developing roller 25a pressed in the direction of the one end 25L1 of the shaft of the developing roller 25a is prevented from engaging with the support member 32R, resulting in separation of the developing roller 25a from the recess 32M, and such that the developing roller 25a pressed in the direction of the other end 25L2 of the shaft of the developing roller 25a disengages from the support member 32R, allowing the developing roller 25a to be freely detached from the recess 32M. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
