<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object deducing device for accurately detecting and tracking the position of a fine target, in a state of including noise in the background of an infrared image. <P>SOLUTION: An image photographing means 1 acquires infrared images in a plurality of bands, including a photographing object, and the infrared images are stored in each band by an image storage means 2. A background noise removal means 3 performs linear operation with a coefficient based on experimental data to the infrared images, to thereby remove the background noise. A sub-pixel processing means 4 detects an object position, below one pixel by using an image from which the background noise is removed by the background noise removal means 3.
