PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the valve closing responsiveness and valve opening responsiveness of a needle, and also to prevent such abnormal injection operation that the needle is closed during a fuel injection period. SOLUTION: A fuel introduction flow passage 22 introducing high-pressure fuel from a fuel supply flow passage 16 to a control chamber 12 and a check valve controlling the opening/closing of a clearance 42 are configured inside of an orifice plate 7. The check valve includes the orifice plate 7 formed with a hollow portion in its inside, a spool 43 reciprocating in the hollow portion of the orifice plate 7, a spring 44 arranged between the spool 43 and a spool hole wall surface, and the like. Thereby, it is possible to shorten the valve opening response time and valve closing response time of the needle 4. During the injection period when a solenoid control valve is opened, the check valve is closed, and the needle 4 is opened, the check valve closes the fuel introduction flow passage 22 having a large flow passage cross-sectional area.
