The nozzle (4) is provided with a nozzle bore (4.10) for the outlet of a plasma gas jet at a nozzle tip (4.11), a section (4.1), the outer surface (4.4) of which is substantially cylindrical, and another section (4.2) connected to the nozzle tip. The outer surface (4.5) of the latter section is tapered toward the nozzle tip in a substantially conical shape, where a liquid feed groove and a liquid return groove are provided and extend across the latter section in the outer surface of the nozzle to the nozzle tip. An independent claim is also included for a plasma torch head.
