PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for driving of a light emitting diode array, and a liquid crystal display device using the same are provided to extend the lifespan of a light emitting diode while compensating the voltage deviation of plurality of LED arrays. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus and a method for driving of a light emitting diode array, and a liquid crystal display device using the same, n light emitting diode arrays have a plurality of light emitting diodes which are serially connected to each other. A driving voltage generator(110) generates m different driving voltages for the plural array groups. A controller(120) detects a feedback voltage corresponding to a current flowing in the plural array groups. The controller generates switching data at array group to select a driving voltage to be supplied to the plural array groups respectively through a detected feedback voltage. A voltage selection unit a driving voltage corresponding to the switching data at array groups and supplies to the array groups.
