The front plate includes display electrodes and a dielectric layer that covers the display electrodes. The dielectric layer is substantially free from lead components, and contains MgO, SiO2, and K2O. The content of MgO is 0.3 to 1.0mol%, while the content of SiO2 is 35 to 50mol%.</p>
