The fluid assembly (1) has a fluid block (4), in which a cavity (2) is arranged and leakage fluid accumulates in the cavity during the intended operation of the fluid assembly. The accumulated leakage fluid is discharged by corresponding unit. The discharge unit comprises a connecting channel (5) with a closure element (10). The connecting channel connects the cavity with the surrounding. The closure element blocks an entry of fluid in the cavity over the connecting channel and releases an outward flow of leakage fluid over the connecting channel depending on predetermined criteria.
