<p>PURPOSE: An array substrate for a liquid crystal display is provided to improve the aperture ratio by minimizing the storage capacitor space. CONSTITUTION: An array substrate for a liquid crystal display comprises a gate line which is formed on a substrate(100), a data line which crosses the gate line and defines a pixel area, a first pixel electrode which is connected to the TFT, a protection cover which covers the TFT and the first pixel electrode, and a common electrode which forms a storage capacitor.</p> |
