<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an acoustic echo by adjusting an output mode of a voice output part so as to properly cancel the acoustic echo, in a terminal for a video conference. <P>SOLUTION: In the video conference terminal 110 including a microphone 214 and a speaker 213, a test signal generating part 301 generates a test voice signal. A voice I/F 205 converts a test voice signal into a test voice, and uses the speaker 213 to output the test voice. A remaining echo measuring part 303 measures acoustic echo information generated when the output test voice is input through the microphone 214.
