<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive transmission mechanism having a coupling with enhanced rigidity and an image forming device equipped therewith. <P>SOLUTION: A drive transmission mechanism 30 includes first and second couplings 31, 32 fitted in rotary shafts 27a, 11a of a drive motor 27 and driving roller 11. The first and second couplings 31, 32 comprise bottom parts 31a, 32a, wall parts 31b, 32b, boss parts 31c, 32c, hole parts 31d, 32d and first and second engaging projections 33, 34. The first and second engaging projections 33, 34 are projected in a thrust direction from the bottom parts 31a, 32a.
