<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase efficiency of developing a program code that uses a function of an image forming apparatus from a host device and screen data for an operation screen. <P>SOLUTION: A multifunction peripheral 1 is provided with: a Web browser 24; a Web server 25; an application 22 for making the Web browser 24 display an operation screen via the Web browser 25; and a storage device 16 for storing the program 29 of a terminal side application for terminal equipment 3. The terminal equipment 3 is provided with: a terminal side Web browser 42; and an application management part 41 for downloading the program 29 from the multifunction peripheral 1, and for running the terminal side applications 44 and 45 based on the program 29. The terminal side applications 44 and 45 cause the browser 42 to display the operation screen on the basis of screen data, and transmit a processing execution instruction to the Web browser 25 of the multifunction peripheral 1 by using the browser 42.
