METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DECOMPOSING POLYMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method and a new device for decomposing a polymer with higher efficiency even at comparatively low temperatures.

SOLUTION: In the method for heating the polymer to thermally decompose it, an infrared ray radiating body with a total emissivity (ε) of 0.8 or more in a 2-14μm wavelength range at 25°C is arranged.
