<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head which can suppress irregularities of a printing density in the main scan direction, and to provide a recording apparatus equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The recording head X includes a radiator 40, a head base body 10 arranged on the radiator 40 and having a heating element array with a plurality of heating elements 13a arranged therein on a top surface, and a first joining layer 16 and a second joining layer 17 interposed between the bottom surface of the head base body 10 and the radiator 40. At least either of the first joining layer 16 and the second joining layer 17 is made a particle containing layer which contains inside a plurality of spacer particles 19 in contact with both of the bottom surface of the head base body 10 and the radiator 40. The spacer particle 19 inside the particle containing layer is higher in thermal conductivity than the first joining layer 16 or the second joining layer 17 which constitutes the particle containing layer. A contact area with the spacer particles 19 per unit area in a joining region with the particle containing layer of the bottom surface of the head base body 10 is made larger at a center than at both ends in the arrangement direction of the heating elements 13a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
