<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sense and determine the surrounding environment of an air conditioner to automatically achieve optimal operation in the surrounding environment. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes: an air conditioner body having wind direction plates 4 each capable of controlling an oscillation angle, mounted in the vicinity of a ceiling and air-conditioning an indoor side; a multiple-lens or a plurality of radiation sensors 5 provided in the air conditioner body; a remote controller 26 for setting demand operation; and an air conditioning control device 30 sensing positions of a temperature control type showcase and a human body by threshold determination of a temperature and the number of pixels based on thermal images related to sensing by the radiation sensor 5 and controlling an air current based on a request signal set by the remote controller 26 so as not to make a blowout air current reach the showcase when the showcase is sensed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
