PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support specification of conditions for scanning to efficiently reduce the exposure of a plurality of internal organs with high radiation sensitivity in the helical scanning. SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus includes: setting tool 63 and 64 for setting the range of scanning, and a first region R1 including a first internal organ and a second region R2 including a second internal organ within the range of scanning based on a position in a z-direction; and a generator 67 for generating candidates for such combinations of helical pitch, X-ray beam width in the z-direction and starting angleθof an X-ray tube that the rotation angleθof the X-ray tube at a prescribed position in the z-direction in the first region R1 belongs to a first angle rangeα1 for reducing the exposure of the first internal organ and that the rotation angleθof the X-ray tube at a prescribed position in the z-direction in the second region R2 belongs to a second angle rangeα2 for reducing the exposure of the second internal organ in the helical scanning.
